Accounting Lifeline is searching for our next CLOUD FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER. Our firm is on a mission to help small business owners build the businesses of their dreams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • – Performing basic bookkeeping procedures, e.g., posting transactions, A/R, A/P, time billing, P/R, G/L, tax payments, and inventory control
  • – Processing payroll company and related tax payments and reports accurately and timely
  • – Process sales tax payments and reports accurately and timely
  • – Ensure bank, credit card, and loan accounts in QuickBooks agree with bank balances
  • – Reconcile and resolve issues at monthend
  • – When necessary, develop and implement systems for maintaining and resolving unique client bookkeeping issues
  • – Communicate to account manager and client open and unresolved issues with closing monthend
  • – Understand when necessary, to develop and implement systems for maintaining and resolving unique client bookkeeping issues, ask account manager, operations manager, or owner for assistance
  • – Preparing financial statements, e.g., monthly and quarterly financial reports, weekly forecasts to Management Team summarizing the current and projected financial position
  • – Monthend and quarterly closing (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements)
  • – Analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts and investment transactions in conjunction with preparing quarterly reports for management
  • – Assisting Accounts Manager with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and workers compensation and general liability audits by serving as company liaison with auditors
  • – Assist with yearend W2, 1099s, and related tasks
  • – Communicating with customers to address any needs on their account
  • – Producing financial data for management team upon request and assisting with other special Accounting projects from time to time
  • – Performing analysis of operations on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually basis
  • – Ensuring all active projects are performed timely and covered by valid, binding contracts

  • – Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • – Client facing skills –you must be able to communicate with our clients, both on the zoom, slack, phone, and through email.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred
  • – 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience or similar full charge cloud work environment
  • – QBO Certification or at least five years working directly in QBO
  • – Experience with add-ons/apps in the QBO ecosystem such as A2X, App Portfolio
  • – Prior experience working with e-commerce, property investor businesses
  • – One year of remote work experience
  • – Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • – Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • – Professional, self-motivated, and self-starter
  • – Continued desire to learn
  • – Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience with accounting software and ABC general ledgers
  • – Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
